Phaidon International Launch Gen Y Rookie Training

International staffing Group, Phaidon International, launched its new Learn to Earn programme this week.

The Group, which consists of 6 micro-specialist recruitment brands Selby Jennings, DSJ Global, Carlton Senior Appointments, Laking Group, Viridium Associates and EPM Scientific, is dedicated to the personal development of its employees.

The Learn to Earn programme, is specially designed for Rookies and focuses on earning client’s and candidate’s Trust, Respect, Commitment and ultimately their Loyalty.

“We are 100% organically grown, investing time and resources into our new consultants is hugely important to our future success,” said Adam Buck, CEO at Phaidon International.

The Learn to Earn programme, which is part of a wider L&D strategy, pioneers a new training model that is a move away from the traditional classroom approach, and incorporates peer learning, on the job training as well as a small element of classroom style training.

“We’ve always focused on good training for our rookies, what’s different about the & lsquo;Learn to Earn’ programme is the way we are engaging with our Gen Y audience.” Explained Pin Patel, Head of Training at Phaidon International.

“Eichinger and Lombardo’s 70:20:10 model has strongly influenced our style and approach. Our programme emphasizes the importance of Peer to Peer learning, as well as on the job training, 1 to 1 coaching and a small element of Classroom training,” added Patel.

“What sets this programme apart is the collective responsibility of the Group to help rookies apply what they have learnt. Every employee plays a crucial role in the development of new consultants, seeing them learn and quickly become successful is very rewarding for all involved,” said Sarah Mason, HR Director at Phaidon International.

The wider L&D strategy ensures that every level of employee, from Rookie to Director continues to develop and advance in their careers.
