Professional Passport to meet Exchequer Secretary David Gauke MP

Professional Passport to meet Exchequer Secretary David Gauke MP

Professional Passport, the largest independent assessor of provider compliance, is to meet Exchequer Secretary David Gauke MP.  The meeting is to discuss provider compliance with a particular focus on travel and subsistence schemes.

Crawford Temple Managing Director of Professional Passport commented: "Encouragingly there seems to be a clear recognition that there are a number of responsible compliant providers operating in the sector that are being commercially disadvantaged by the promoters of 'schemes'. We believe that this is an important first step in creating the level playing field, the one thing that all the responsibly run providers have ever wanted."

He went on to say: "The fact that the Minister is taking the time to understand the market underpins just how important the flexible workers market is to the overall performance of the UK economy."

Professional Passport will be promoting the standards applied by their audited and approved providers and highlighting the areas where the 'schemes' seek to exploit grey areas to gain a commercial advantage.
