Conduct Regulations update from APSCo

Conduct Regulations update from APSCo

Following the closure of the Government’s consultation on the regulatory future of the staffing industry on 11th April 2013, APSCo continues to keep in close contact with the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS).

Caroline Daly, Senior Policy Adviser for the Labour Market Directorate at BIS, who is leading the consultation has commented that the department is very pleased with the level of response from trade associations, staffing companies, unions and individuals. APSCo has offered any assistance it can give to BIS during the next stage of the process.

Samantha Hurley, Head of External affairs at APSCo, says “We’d like to thank APSCo members for their overwhelming response to the consultation. By engaging directly with BIS, they have actively helped to shape future regulation. We look forward to hearing the Government’s response, which is due before Parliament’s summer recess in July.”
