First recruitment diversity report published by leading technical agency

Cititec has become the first recruitment agency to publish an annual EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) report. 

Cititec, the 11th fastest growing agency in the UK, is specialist in financial IT, insurance, digital, energy and pharmaceutical recruitment.  Trading since 1998, Cititec has 100 employees and a global footprint.

Stephen Grant, CEO commented “similar to an annual financial report, the EDI report highlights our approach, provides us with an evidenced based overview of the work we have already undertaken and the information we need to continue to develop in this area.” Grant confirmed “this is a publically available document – we are being open and transparent about where we are and what we have done.  It is reassurance for our candidates, clients and employees alike.”

A first within the industry, Cititec partnered with Sateo (inclusion and equality specialists) to produce and audit the report in order to validate it and ensure its independence. The report is available on the Cititec sustainability web pages (www.cititec.com/sustainability) and an infographic has been produced to highlight key statistics.

Not only a first within the UK, there are no published examples of a recruitment agency having done this within any other country.  The report covers the business case, what Cititec are doing, employee engagement, client and candidate involvement and supporting inclusion objectives.
