Interim Partners appoints new senior director

Interim Partners appoints new senior director

Interim Partners, the number one provider of interim managers to the private sector, has appointed Adam Kyriacou as a senior director.

Adam joins Interim Partners as the business celebrates its tenth anniversary.  He will be based in the London office, with a mandate to continue the growth of Interim Partners.  He plans to double the number of consultants over the next 3-5 years.

Doug Baird, Managing Director of Interim Partners, will continue his responsibility for leading the overall New Street Group, which include Interim Partners and its two sister businesses, BrightPool and New Street Executive Search.

Interim Partners places interims at or just below board level, with day rates from &pound600 upwards, while BrightPool recruits contractors for the level below that, with day rates up to &pound600.  New Street Executive Search is a permanent executive recruitment brand, focusing on senior appointments in the &pound150,000 to &pound500,000 bracket.

As well as being in charge of the day-to-day operations of Interim Partners, Adam will also develop Interim Partners’ recruitment of interim executives in the legal sector, a growing market for the business.  These will include interim COOs, CFOs, and other interim management roles such as Interim Procurement Directors.

Prior to joining Interim Partners, Adam was at Hudson for eight years, reaching UK board level where he ran multi-sector, cross-functional teams across the UK as national Managing Director for Marketing & Communications, Sales, Legal and Supply Chain/Procurement.  Previously he has also recruited for interim finance roles.

Doug Baird, Managing Director of Interim Partners says: “Interim Partners has grown to a size where we need to add a senior director to help properly spearhead the next phase of its growth.  We anticipate that most of the growth for the Interim Partners brand will be focused in the London office, which is why I want a director of Adam’s calibre there.”

“Adam’s outstanding career in recruitment means he has the right combination of skills and experience to make sure that Interim Partners meets its growth targets while continuing to offer our clients and candidates the exceptional services that we have offered them for the past ten years.”

Adam Kyriacou says: “Interim Partners is an inspiring company to work with, with outstanding people and reward of success.  I am looking forward to working closely with Doug and the rest of the management team, to grow Interim Partners while staying true to the values that are so important to the business’s success.  We want the business to have a high-performance, values-based team that deliver the best possible results for candidates and clients.”

Legal sector interim executives

Adam Kyriacou will also be helping to develop Interim Partners’ recruitment of interim executives for the legal sector.

The legal sector is undergoing significant changes as a result of the Legal Services Act, which made it possible for non-lawyers to own legal services businesses from the beginning of 2012.

This has created significant demand for interim executives with experience of operational roles in the legal sector.

Adam Kyriacou explains: “The legal sector is undergoing significant transformation, with large mergers as law firms consolidate to find economies of scale, and with new entrants to the market overhauling how legal services are provided.  These dynamics have created significant new demand for interim executives who can improve how these businesses are run.”

“A growing number of law firms are turning to interim managers to help them accelerate their transformation plans to adapt to the changing marketplace for legal services.”
