Bond International Signs £1M Academic Deal
- Bond Adapt configuration team will provide agile support to Academic Work, ensuring efficiency and supporting company growth -
Academic Work, a temping agency specialising in Young Professionals in the Nordics, has signed a contract worth in excess of £1M with Bond International Software, entering into an agreement to have a dedicated configuration team for the specialist portfolio of recruitment applications - Bond Adapt. The Bond Adapt configuration team will be working in partnership with Academic Work to advance its current and future recruitment software needs, ensuring that they fit with its growing business structure and further expand the working relationship between the two organisations.
Academic Work helps Nordic-based companies reach university students and young professionals for short time assignments, as well as full time employment. Established in Sweden in 1998, the company now boasts an impressive &euro120 million annual turnover. It places over 16,000 candidates per year and is predicting doubling its turnover and headcount over the next two years as it expands into new territories.
Using Bond Adapt in all areas of the recruitment business, Academic Work required software that had the ability to incorporate bespoke amendments, making the recruitment process as fast and as agile as possible. Academic Work therefore required instant access to members of the Bond Adapt configuration team in order to develop the recruitment applications in line with their specific requirements.
Daniel Wrangsjö, Project Manager, Academic Work, comments, “We have worked closely with Bond International Software over a long period of time and find the flexibility of the dedicated configuration team as a real asset. We are now able to manage any bespoke requirements of the software as and when we need them – this provides us with greater control of how our software performs for us as a business.”
Prior to having a dedicated configuration team, Academic Work requests would have had to be logged via Bond’s Resource Planner. By having instant and direct access, any requirements from Academic Work can now be implemented immediately, therefore managing all system updates directly making the process far more agile and efficient.
Wrangsjö concludes, “Having a dedicated configuration team means that Bond Adapt can support our business plans for expansion. Now that we have a designated configuration team, it further strengthens our working relationship with Bond International Software and supports the high ambitions which we have for the future.”
