CRG Announces High Profile Appointment

Recruitment and health service provider, CRG (Castlerock Recruitment Group), has bolstered its public sector offering after being appointed to a new framework agreement by Wokingham Borough Council.

As part of the contract, CRG will provide an extensive range of temporary staffing solutions, including roles in the healthcare, commercial, administration and professional services sectors.  According to the company, the demand for jobs is so high that it intends to open a new branch in Wokingham.

As one of five recruitment providers that have been appointed, CRG has secured a significant portion of the contract, which has an annual value of &pound1.5m to &pound2m.

Paul Booth, managing director of CRG South, said: “This is the second high-profile new client win in as many months for CRG. We already have demonstrable experience in matching quality personnel to organisations in the public sector, and are committed to delivering an unparalleled level of service.

“As part of the contract, we will be supplying Wokingham Borough Council with a variety of roles, from social workers to drivers, and from land surveyors to IT professionals. The framework perfectly illustrates our capabilities not just in healthcare, but right across the professional employment market.”

Tom Crowley, procurement officer at Wokingham Borough Council, said: “This is an important framework agreement for the supply of temporary labour right across the borough of Wokingham. CRG has valuable experience in the field of public sector recruitment, with a skills base that closely matches our needs and requirements. We are confident that all the successful providers will continue to deliver the high standards that we have come to expect of our recruitment partners.”

CRG was awarded the contract following a full tender process. The framework agreement will run for a period of two years.

CRG is a health service provider and recruitment group that was established in 2000. With group turnover set to top &pound24 million in 2013/14, the company specialises in the supply of domiciliary care services, supported living, qualified nursing and healthcare staff, together with medical locums, GPs, allied health professionals and health science services staff.

The firm, which has 141 staff across the UK, has seen strong organic growth over the past year. Having significantly diversified its market offering, it is now the parent company to 10 sub-brands including: CRG Healthcare, CRG Homecare, CRG Defence and CRG Doctors.
