Eden Scott Celebrates a Decade as Scotland’s People Business
On 6th May 2003, one of Scotland’s most respected recruitment businesses was established, and over the past 10 years Eden Scott has gone from strength to strength.
Starting off in one small room in a serviced office in Edinburgh’s New Town, the business has grown to over 70 staff with offices in three of Scotland’s major cities Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Founded by Guy Martin, Michelle Lownie and Chris Logue, Eden Scott has gone on to become a dominant player in the Scottish recruitment market. Today, Eden Scott continues to push boundaries – last week the business broke yet another record, achieving its best performing week in fee income.
Since start up Eden Scott has measured significant profits year on year, reaching seven figures in the last two. With no debt, the business is financially strong and completely in control of its destiny with no external shareholders.
Celebrating a decade of connecting clients with candidates, Eden Scott has helped to guide almost 4,000 people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives, placing them into exciting and fulfilling roles to drive their careers forward.
The business prides itself on partnering and maintaining long-term partnerships with clients. Over the past ten years Eden Scott has worked, and continues to work with high profile clients including LVMH, Skyscanner and Scottish Water.
Michelle Lownie is delighted with Eden Scott’s success. “When we started, we saw a real opportunity to provide a consultative service, and to really concern ourselves with our clients’ business objectives. Guy, Chris and I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the people that have supported and partnered with Eden Scott over the years and we’re looking forward to continued success for the next ten years and beyond!”
