Positive funding for The Parr Group

Bolton-based human resource and recruitment company The Parr Group has secured an increased funding line from Positive Cashflow Finance.

The Parr Group had worked with a bank owned funder since the early 1990s, but started working with Positive last year because they were able to meet their funding requirements.

Positive was able to step in and offer support allowing The Parr Group to continue with its growth plans by expanding its new business drive in regions across the UK.

The company provides temporary and permanent staff to clients in the North West and specilaises in commercial, accountancy and industrial recruitment. They have also developed a specialist division dedicated to the Work Based Learning (WBL) industry, providing qualified specialist staff into the sectors that deal with programmes such as apprenticeships, NVQ's and e2e.

Clients include pharmaceuticals firm Catalent in Westhoughton and Bolton-based manufacturing business Eco Technical Ceramics.

Positive works with businesses and provide funding facilities from &pound10,000 to &pound1million to improve working capital, fund acquisitions and accelerate growth.

Ian Blackledge, partner at The Parr Group, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Positive on board. We’ve developed a strong relationship with the team and they have helped us to develop a bespoke invoice finance package, which will ultimately improve our cashflow.

“It has been an effortless process working with Positive as they are experts in our industry. The team does not operate on a box-ticking basis and they have come up with a logical solution to support our business’s needs. This has allowed us to deliver quality services to our clients and keep up with regular repayments.”

Phil Chesham, sales and marketing director at Positive, added: “We are delighted to have been able to provide a facility for The Parr Group to replace their previous funder and support their working capital requirements. They have built up a solid client base in the North West and are already looking to expand into other UK regions. We are confident that our funding line will help the business continue with its ambitious growth plans.”
