Bounty Network unlocks recruitment industry shackles as bounty-hunting community grows

Bounty Network– a community recruitment marketplace – today unveiled a hat trick of updates – with its new brand identity, its first successful candidate placements and the arrival of two new advisory board members.

Previously known as Job Bounties during its beta launch, Bounty Networkhas shifted its focus onto the strong community of users who are currently utilising their networks to refer friends for jobs and being rewarded accordingly.  Referral hires have already been proven to be one of the most successful ways to hire – for quality, retention rates and cost per hire. Bounty Network brings what is already happening offline, to online – leveraging a community of professional job seekers in London.

Those who are aware of recruitment entrepreneur James Uffindell, may see the branding parallels between new venture Bounty Network and his existing successful careers community, Bright Network.  Bright Network has successfully been helping students from the UK’s leading universities to achieve as much as possible in their early careers.  Bounty Network now takes the expertise and knowledge learned from the Bright Network, and applies it to the far wider talent pool. Bright Network now has over 200 major clients including Google, innocent and Goldman Sachs.

Testament to this thriving and active community, Bounty Network placed its first two candidates with advertising technology company, Magnetise. Isobel Langley, Head of Premium Network at Magnetise said, 'Bounty Network offered a friendly and professional service and enabled us to find some exceptional candidates for roles on our commercial team”

In tandem, the Bounty Network advisory board is joined by recruitment expert, Matt Alder and Senior Vice President, Technology Business Operations at News Corporation, Aash Chandarana. Matt has been working in digital recruitment marketing for 12 years. Matt built up social media recruitment expertise having spent seven years as Head of Interactive Media with TMP Worldwide followed by four years as Head of Digital at Penna Barkers.

Meanwhile, Aash has been working in media and technology since graduating from Oxford University in 1999. With an impressive track record in organisations including BBC and Telegraph Media Group, Aash is now Senior Vice President, Technology Business Operations at News Corporation.

James Uffindell, CEO and Founder of Bounty Network, said “The recruitment market has been stuck in its ways for too long now and what Bounty Network does is disrupt that. Our community is growing and we’re benefitting from the support and advice from leading industry experts – it’s exciting to make so much headway so fast.”

Bounty Network is currently focused on filling &pound20k-&pound100k/per annum jobs in London and is already working with leading organisations such as Secret Escapes, Seatwave and Macmillan Cancer Research.

Bounty Network’s mission is to build a trusted community of people who make great referrals and who will be rewarded for their help. To ensure the community retains its quality and value, all referrals are screened by in-house consultants – thus ensuring companies receive only the best CVs – and good referrers are rewarded.

Advisory Board member Matt Alder commented, "Having worked in digital recruitment marketing since 1999 I've seen the industry mature and develop significantly over that last 14 years. Bounty Network is a unique proposition through its approach of disintermediation – it turns everyone into a recruiter through leveraging the power of social and professional networks. This means a job goes to more people more quickly to expedite a firm's search for the right candidate. Research has shown that referred hires are more productive and have higher retention rates, plus the risk-free incentive for the recruiter makes Bounty Network a compelling, exciting and disruptive addition to the recruitment market.”

Advisory Board member Aash Chandarana added, “Technology is disrupting all areas of our lives and I'm delighted to being working with Bounty Network as they seek to modernize the recruitment market. Making sure people find the right job is critical not only to their careers, but also to ensuring companies continue to grow and the economy recovers.”
