GCS Irish Move

GCS Irish Move

Due to increased demand for their recruitment services, GCS Recruitment Specialists' Irish operation has moved to new offices in Dublin. The move became necessary due to the headcount growth required to satisfy customer needs and, in the opinion of GCS Ireland Manager Tim Dunne, is an encouraging sign of Irish economic recovery.

"Despite the ongoing recession, we've noticed a marked increase in technology vacancies" says Dunne. "More and more Irish businesses are beginning to appreciate the need to attract the best technology professionals to the country. Ireland can be a major global player within IT, especially within cloud computing where analysts suggest we could enjoy a 20% market share. Through the efforts of forward-thinking leaders, the engagement of the best and brightest within the technology sector, and solid investment of time and money, our IT industry could well be the key to Ireland's recovery."

GCS founder Chris Bartlett concurs. "Recruitment businesses can be described as barometers for the economy. GCS cannot expand unless our clients are hiring. After a period of business uncertainty in Ireland, it appears companies are feeling confident enough about the future of the Irish technology marketplace to invest time and money into ensuring that they have the best permanent and interim talent available."
