Nantwich recruiter moves to bigger meadows

A Nantwich recruitment firm has moved to bigger premises in the town as part of ambitious expansion plans by the company’s owners.

Meadowbank Associates – which had been on Welsh Row for nearly 30 years – has gone from strength to strength since being acquired by Crewe-based Absolute Group a little over a year ago, including the appointment of two new members of staff.

Absolute Group’s Managing Director Jessica Marshall said that although it was sad that Meadowbank Associates was moving away from Welsh Row, the offices were becoming a barrier to the company’s expansion.

“Everyone in Nantwich knew where Meadowbank Associates was on Welsh Row and we made the decision to move with a heavy heart,” said Jessica.

“But the simple truth is that the company is on the up and we needed more space and better facilities to ensure the team could continue to expand. We have seen the team grow from five to seven and have high hopes that this will continue, and now we finally have the space to accommodate it.

“Princes Court is a great location for Meadowbank Associates with fantastic facilities in comparison to what we had before, and the team love their new offices because they have so much more space.”

The move means the company – which specialises in commercial, technical and industrial recruitment – will have significantly better facilities to interview candidates for a variety of permanent and temporary positions that Meadowbank Associates fills for firms across Cheshire.

The Absolute Group already owns Absolute Recruitment and Summit Executive Search & Selection in Crewe and Bralin Recruitment in Winsford. Mrs Marshall added that the growth of Meadowbank Associates has more than justified the decision to buy the business with husband and fellow director Dan Marshall.

“When the opportunity came up to buy Meadowbank Associates, we jumped at it because it’s a great business with bags of potential,” she said.

“We recognised straightaway that it needed to move to bigger premises and when Princes Court came up, we knew it was the right thing to do for the business.

“We’ve already seen what a big difference all the extra space has had on the team and we’re expecting great things from them in the new home for Meadowbank Associates.”
