Ochre House team cycles to France for Cancer Research

A group of four Ochre House employees will get on their bikes later this summer for a gruelling 24 hour ride from London to Paris, all in the name of charity.

In support of Cancer Research UK, the riders will cycle unsupported, over 200 miles, punctuated only by a ferry crossing and a few brief breaks. The ride - normally done as a staged event over a number of days with an accompanying support crew – will take place on Saturday 20th July, just ahead of the Tour de France Peleton.

Simon Lythgoe, Head of Marketing at Ochre House and one of the cyclists, commented: “The team has been training hard for the event, but planning to cycle more than 200 miles unsupported, with virtually no sleep, carrying clothing, food and drink is certainly a daunting task. We’re expecting it to be a real challenge, but it’s all in the name of a good cause! Everyone is touched by cancer at some point and the team from Ochre House are keen to raise as much money as we can for this worthy charity.”
