Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms

Oakleaf Partnership are pleased to advise that they have been approved as a signatory to the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms.

This Code, resulting from Recommendation 8 of the Davies Report, recognises the important role that executive recruitment firms play in supporting clients as they take steps to increase the proportion of women on their boards and in the executive pipeline. As a business , Oakleaf very much believe that we have already been working in the spirit of the Code. We work pro-actively with many of our senior female candidates to promote their candidature on Exco/Board appointments. Certainly our practice is to always present balanced shortlists to our clients. For our placements, we also offer a mentoring program – this certainly has been found to assist the induction of new hires. We do continually monitor diversity of placements – including where there have been changes in industry sector going forward we will also be monitoring the ratio of female placements over &pound100k salaries versus male, which we believe should offer further interesting insight within the HR profession.
