Alium interims are training professionals to sell better
Interims from Alium Partners, the global interim management provider, are helping sales professionals to sell to their customers through international, interactive training schemes.
To date, Alium has provided these expert, C-level interims in over twenty cities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America to support these sessions, which are being run by the US-based consultancy, SGA.
Alium Practice Head, Bruce Mair, who co-ordinates the SGA account on behalf of the interim firm commented: “Our international interim executives are well suited to take part in these training programmes as they have first-hand experience of the wants and needs of board level executives and key decision makers in a variety of industries.
“The attendees find that selling their product or service to an experienced interim CXO professional (including CEO’s, CMOs and CFOs) is just as tough as selling it in real life, while they also benefit from the safe, interactive learning environment provided.
“Alium has been supporting SGA in these case study selling simulations for over two years now. We have been pleased to see that the relationship continues to benefit both the course delegates and our interims, who welcome the opportunity to build and utilise their experience in different environments and geographies, providing their insight to develop best in class sales techniques.”
Andrew Emig, General Manager Executive Sourcing at SGA Inc. commented: "Alium continues to be an invaluable partner assisting our firm to secure highly qualified C-level executives to be involved with us at our programs around the globe.
SGA's methodology requires C-level executives to be authentic within the context of the meeting and/or selling simulations we design, and then provide the participants with direct feedback on their performance. Ultimately, the participants leave the programs with a different mindset and approach to their clients, and more specifically what it takes to successfully gain sponsorship or endorsement at the C-level.
C-level executives that gravitate to the interim world are a natural fit for our work, and Alium has succeeded time and again to fill specific needs regardless of required industry or functional backgrounds, geography and/or nationality."
