CRG Healthcare Appointed To Its First South West Framework

CRG Healthcare (Castlerock Recruitment Group), has been appointed to its first framework agreement for the supply of qualified nurses to the NHS in the South West by Bristol and Western Purchasing Consortium – a collaborative of Bristol, Bath, Weston and Gloucester NHS Trusts (BBWG). As primary provider CRG will be recruiting to support all hospitals across the region.

BBWG is a collective of acute and community health organisations, which formed after identifying a common requirement for quality nurses at excellent value.

CRG’s Healthcare division is run by nurses, for nurses, enabling it to effectively meet the needs of patients, as well as considering the needs of the nurses it employs.

As the primary provider to have been appointed, CRG Healthcare has secured a significant portion of the contract, which has an annual value of circa &pound5 million. The important contract win will help to fill immediate positions in the South West and CRG is encouraging candidates to continue coming forward to help meet demand for roles.

CRG Healthcare was appointed following a competitive tender process and was awarded the contract due to its ability to supply staff, and provide a high quality, cost-effective service.

Vivienne Jones, general manager at CRG Healthcare, said: “This framework win is a significant step for CRG Healthcare, because there is so much work available to nursing staff. We have over 100 roles and immediate placements available, so this is a really busy and exciting time for us.

“As a nurse-led organisation, we are dedicated to providing a 24-hour, 365 days a year coverage service.

“We hope to be able to supply highly-qualified staff as part of the contract, in both an economically-viable and professional manner – the precise reasons why we were successful in joining the framework.”

John Orzel, purchasing specialist at BBWG, said: “We are confident that CRG Healthcare will provide us with the efficient service expected of a BBWG supplier. CRG Healthcare understands the needs of both the patient and the healthcare professional, which means it is able to provide South West patients with the best possible care.”

CRG’s Healthcare division has been established for 13 years and provides staff qualified across all grades and specialities. It offers opportunities for qualified nurses across all areas, including Theatres, Critical Care and A & E.
