GCS Recruitment Specialists has announced an increase in both turnover and profit
For a fourth consecutive year, GCS Recruitment Specialists has announced an increase in both turnover and profit.
The company’s five-year “growth ambition” has been instrumental in encouraging and motivating staff, which is evident in GCS’s increased average per-consultant billing. At May’s year-end figures, turnover reached £34.3m with net fee income of £7.5m – both company records. Impressively, these statistics represent a 59% increase on 2010’s year-end figures.
“Whilst a record year is always a cause for celebration, we are mindful of the fact that our gains over the past twelve months have been less than in previous years” says managing director David Bloxham. “It has been a challenging year for the UK economically and I am aware in my role as President of the Reading Chamber Council that GCS are not the only company to experience an easing in demand over the first six months of 2013. That said, the news that the country has avoided a triple-dip recession is excellent and we feel confident that the strengthening economy, combined with our recently improved training program, increased presence in the financial services and the expansion of our Irish business will accelerate our growth and lead to another record year.”
