The Curve Group Reach Final of National Business Awards

--Shortlisted in Growth Business of The Year Category--

The Curve Group, one of the UK’s leading HR Services companies, announces today that it has reached the finals of the National Business Awards, the UK’s premier accolade for enterprise excellence. The company is shortlisted in the Growth Business of The Year Category, which recognises an outstanding increase in sales, profit, market share, headcount or geographical expansion. With The Curve Group currently on a 165% growth rate for 2013 the shortlisted candidates will also have had to demonstrate the best levels of growth for its size and sector and the most robust plan for sustained financial performance.

The judges commented “With a tremendous focus on customers, the client is at the heart of everything The Curve Group does and it is happy to offer flexible, bespoke solutions. This is allied to an equally strong focus on its own staff who are sufficiently motivated to deliver fantastic results without traditional personal financial incentives.”

The Curve Group’s submission was based on its outstanding financial growth over the past 18 months, which has included the launch of its highly successful Curve Contractors business. From a staff of 15 with a turnover of &pound405,177 in 2009-10 The Curve Group have accelerated to a turnover of &pound4.8m, 40 staff and gross profits of &pound980k in 2012-13. This has been achieved as a result of its nagging insistence on quality and personal service, regardless of client, industry or size.

The Curve Group owners, Della Wolfe, Jeanette Ramsden and Lyndsey Simpson comment “We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted in this Growth Business category as it applauds the hard work and dedication of our team. There are only a handful of HR and recruitment companies in the UK that are on such a high-growth path and we are very pleased that our excellent customer and candidate service is being recognised along with our strong business results.”

Dame Helen Alexander, Chair of judges for the National Business Awards, said: “These organisations and leaders represent exceptional success over the past year.  The environment has been tough these are the firms leading the way to growth.  There’s a broad spectrum of sectors represented, as well as organisations of very different sizes, reflecting the diversity of British business and the vitality of our economy.  Congratulations to all our finalists.”
