HSE Passport announces partnership agreement with SThree

HSE Passport and SThree Plc have announced an agreement to supply the HSE Passport Scheme across the SThree group.

SThree has signed an agreement offering contractors the potential to stay up-to-date on the latest health, safety and environmental training. The scheme has been designed to help agencies and contractors improve their health & safety knowledge while limiting employers’ exposure to risk as a result of employing contractors.

As part of the provision, contractors are trained on all key health and safety issues and, after passing an online competency course, gain core competencies across emergencies, workplace safety, employee health and personal safety.

Guy Schrecker of HSE Passport said, “With 173 workers killed at work during 2011, 591,000 self-reported injuries and a &pound13.4 billion estimated cost as the result of this, it’s no wonder SThree have thought ahead of the game and provided an innovative product to their temporary contractors. SThree have experienced impressive growth in the last few years and the decision they have made to step up their responsibility in the health and safety area is a wise choice.”

Andy Hallett, Commercial Director at SThree, said, “We are proud to have signed this agreement and look forward to a successful implementation of the scheme across the SThree group. By entering into this partnership we’ve shown that SThree has once again proven itself to be a true leader in the recruitment market and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with HSE Passport.”
