Innovation at Eden Brown leads to impressive results.

Innovation at Eden Brown leads to impressive results.

The past year at Eden Brown has marked a change in the trajectory of previous years – both organisationally and strategically. For the first time since 2008 the UK job market and the recruitment industry started to stabilise, indicating a gradual upwards trend across core market indicators. This change of dynamics gave Eden Brown the opportunity to revisit their business ethos, mid and longer-term strategic goals and overall business rules leading to impressive results.

Eden Brown has re-focused on their core markets and areas of expertise, Engineering, Health & Social Care, the Public & third sectors and the Built Environment. This has allowed the company to create innovative value added services based on deep market, candidate and client knowledge.

Innovation and a return to their founding principles have resulted in record results and commercial highlights this financial year in both perm and contract sales. Turnover is 10% ahead year on year and average productivity per head has increased by 13%. The company have also achieved a record number of working temps.

Tim Cook, CEO of Human Capital Investment Group comments & lsquo;the team at Eden Brown have done a fantastic job at re-assessing their business and core strategy which allowed them to take full advantage of the increasing activity across the UK recruitment sector. This took considerable effort and wasn’t done in a day but the results certainly speak for themselves. We are very pleased with Q1 results and it is a pleasure to be witnessing the continuous growth of the Group’s largest and to date most successful business.’

A focus on staff engagement has helped Eden Brown to attract some of the best and most experienced consultants in the industry as well as invest in talented trainees. Eden Brown is always recruiting for dynamic and ambitious individuals to join the team and is planning to increase the business by 30 heads in the next 18 months alone.
