Eames Consulting Group (Eames) Enters The Big Row To Raise Money For The Chauncy Maples Malawi Trust

On Wednesday 11 September 2013 Eames enters a crew of ten aspiring athletes into “The Big Row”. 100 crews in total will form this collective row led by Thomas Miller & Co Ltd, with each crew consisting of ten team members committed to rowing 1,000 metres per person

The reason for this test of stamina, strength and determination is to raise money for the renovation of Chauncy Maples, Africa’s oldest floating ship, into a health clinic for the fishing villages around Lake Malawi. The 1,000,000 metres rowed in total by the 100 crews symbolises the circumference of Lake Malawi and with each crew targeted to raise &pound10,000, the total raised for this cause will be a staggering &pound1,000,000

As Eames celebrates its 11th anniversary this week, we are confident that spirits will be high amongst our team AND Wish the following crew members all the best of luck: Alfie Sayers, Darrin Mathie, Dean Shepherd, Derren Bevington, Ed Carr, James Clark, Matthew Eames, Owanate Bestman, Peter Andronov and Will Cattigan
