Temp of the Year Awarded to Bournemouth Super-Employee, Rebecca

& lsquo;Super Temp,’ Rebecca Ashling-Yates, has been awarded the prestigious Temp of the Year award by Jobshop UK for consistently high feedback and her impressive work ethic.

Rebecca, who started temping with Jobshop UK in February 2010, has worked on a variety of assignments in that time, including administration roles in finance, customer service, revenues,  as well as receptionist and PA positions.

Rebecca explained: “When I left my previous job after 22 years I was rather daunted by the prospect of looking for a new job.  I had dealt with Jobshop as a client and had no hesitation in contacting them with regard to temporary work.  I felt that they would have some knowledge of me as a prospective employee.  Three and a half years later I was still temping for them and thoroughly enjoyed all the various roles and experience that I had gained .

“I am delighted to have been awarded & lsquo;Temp of the Year,’ and to have been recognised for all the assignments that I have been placed in from some Jobshop’s most significant clients such as Bournemouth Council, McCarthy & Stone and Raglan Housing.”

Jobshop UK Director, Frances Miles, said: “Rebecca has proved herself to be an outstanding temp with many of our clients requesting her personally. When a temporary role came up within our own offices recently, Rebecca came in to cover the role, and on 1st July, we were thrilled to be able to offer Rebecca a permanent position with the Jobshop UK team.

“Rebecca is a great addition to Jobshop, with her excellent organisational skills, she is helpful, professional and efficient.  Being awarded & lsquo;Temp of the Year’ goes some way into acknowledging just how impressed our clients have been with her.”
