Admiral delivers a first in MBA recruitment
In 2011, Admiral Group started working with ThirtyThree to articulate, develop and deliver their employer branding and communications strategy. Earlier this year, they embarked on an ambitious drive to attract Europe’s finest MBA talent to work at Admiral. Having been founded by MBA alumni, the Admiral Group has always been keen to recruit more ambitious MBA students. But doing so isn’t easy: it’s a highly competitive market, with blue-chip companies slugging it out to attract and recruit the brightest business minds. Admiral knew that they would have to do something different to stand out something innovative, bold and unique to this market. And so, www.AdmiralUnlimited.co.uk was born.
www.AdmiralUnlimited.co.uk is a first for the MBA recruitment market and goes far beyond the confines of a traditional recruitment website. It’s not just a website to find out about what you can do with an MBA at Admiral. Or to see what Admiral’s current crop of MBA graduates are working on. It’s more than that. Instead of being a passive, one-dimensional & lsquo;look at us’ site, it’s a valuable and constantly updated resource for MBA students and alumni. Content diverse, it pulls in stories and features from inside Admiral, as well as feeds of stories, articles and news from business schools, MBA content sites, bloggers, companies, media and thought leaders.
The site is being promoted through the @AdmiralUnltd Twitter feed. To get things started, ThirtyThree spent time building a community, following MBAs, business schools and other feeds prominent in the MBA arena. The website and Twitter account are being promoted by Admiral on campus at a number of key business schools the schools themselves are also promoting the Admiral Unlimited campaign to their students. Admiral will also be following up all this activity by visiting campuses in person and holding bespoke recruitment events.
www.AdmiralUnlimited.co.uk launched in July 2013. The site has already received some 830 visits (to Sept. 13) and this is the first time that Admiral has made a concerted effort to engage with MBA students and alumni through the web and social media.
