Blue Pelican goes extra mile to reward staff

Blue Pelican is rewarding its top billers with a group trip to a destination of their choice.

The company created the incentive scheme at the beginning of 2013, for the four highest billers over the qualifying limit in each six month period January to June, and July to December.

Andy Brooks, Andy Wise, Colin Doree and Kate McDermott were the lucky winners of the first six month competition and decided on Ibiza.

The four began their trip on the 25th of September, relaxing in style at one of Stansted’s VIP lounges, before touching down to be greeted by a luxury villa and a private charter motor boat.

Kate McDermott commented “If Carlsberg made incentive trips...”

She added, “&hellipI can’t thank my Directors enough for making me feel truly valued and enabling me to really let my hair down on our incentive trip to Ibiza. From the exclusive airport lounge when we arrived at Stansted to the “fully stocked” private boat we chartered for the day, every little detail had been thought of to make it a really special experience. We partied at super club Ushuaia (even though our Director would rather have been in bed I’m sure!) and ate at one of the most phenomenal restaurants on the island – without a single expense spared.

I’m now totally driven to ensure I am on the next incentive trip (as are the rest of the company, having seen the photos!) but there are only four spaces available&hellip better get cracking!”

Conrad Chant, sales director at the company, who planned the much anticipated trip and went away with the group, said, “The best thing about organising such a trip is watching how all participants could not have done more to enjoy their experience. Whilst sitting down over dinner, at the fabulous Bambuddah Grove restaurant on the final night, the only thing we could have asked for was for a few more days!”
