GCS nominated for 2 NORAs
GCS has been shortlisted in two categories for 2013's National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs).
GCS is under consideration for the Best Large Recruitment Agency and Best Small Employer Website awards.
The ceremony, this year celebrating its 13th iteration, will be held on Tuesday 12th November, and
"Our website has undergone a radical change this year" says GCS marketing manager Daniel Evans. "We spent a lot of time understanding the customer journey. We wanted a site that reflected the look and feel of our new brand whilst providing a logical, engaging user experience"
"The results have been outstanding" commented GCS chairman Chris Bartlett. "It is fantastic to have a website that utilises responsive web design and features case studies, company profiles, advice for customers and business blogging from our management team. I'm thrilled that the NORA judging panel have deemed it fit to be shortlisted in their prestigious awards."
"GCS have been regular finalists for our awards" says the founder of the NORAs, Stephen O'Donnell. "What has always been apparent from their website, was the authenticity of the company, their professional standards, and an openness to sharing their culture with jobseekers and potential employees. Whilst the company website has evolved, it has always been stylish, welcoming, and very user-friendly".
Whilst this is GCS' first nomination within the Best Large Recruitment Agency category, it is the company's third for the Best Small Employer category. 2009 saw the first time the Best Small Employer category ran at the NORAs, with GCS winning the award. GCS was shortlisted again in 2012.
