Hospitality recruitment arm rebrands to Chefs Jobs UK

Chefs Jobs UK, which specialises in recruiting interim and permanent chefs for clients across the UK, is the new name for the hospitality arm of the Cummins Mellor Group.

Following a period of rapid growth, Managing Directors Richard and Michelle Mellor made the decision to separate the hospitality department from the rest of the business and create Chefs Jobs UK.

The move will allow the company to focus its marketing efforts on candidates and clients within the hospitality industry alone.

Chefs Jobs UK will also have a presence in London following the opening of a new office in Fulham.

A new-look website has also been launched where Chefs can register online for work across the UK.

Commenting on the new developments, Richard Mellor said: “These are extremely exciting times for Chefs Jobs UK and these changes have been made to allow the hospitality division to expand even more in its own right.

“Opening the new office in London will enable us to strengthen our presence in the capital, which we see as a key market going forwards.

“We now have 6 dedicated members of staff in the Chefs Jobs UK team and I fully expect we will be recruiting more staff in the coming year.”

Praising the move, Manchester City’s Consultant Chef John Benson Smith, a long-standing client of the Cummins Mellor Group, said: “I have dealt with thousands of companies over the last thirty years and few have impressed me as much as the team at Chefs Jobs UK.

“These guys are on the ball, and going the extra mile isn’t a sound bite, it’s reality.

“Here’s to many more successful years as Chefs Jobs UK.”

Based in Accrington, Lancashire, the Cummins Mellor Group has been operating for 23 years and is one of the most respected names in the recruitment industry.

There are three divisions to the business - Chefs Jobs UK, an East Lancashire-based recruitment agency called Cummins Mellor Recruitment, and a DBS Checking company called Personnel Checks.
