Opus launches new graduate/employer networking site

Opus Recruitment Solutions has launched a social networking platform designed to help graduates to connect with employers seeking staff with specific talents. aims to enable students to share their personal profiles highlighting their abilities, interests and career goals, as well as their university modules and grades, thus putting them at an advantage.

The site, launched three weeks ago, also enables potential employers to keep track of students whilst still at university to ensure they are making an informed appointment.

Employers are able to view information displayed on the students profile about the modules they have taken, the scores they have received throughout university/what their interests are/the year they graduate etc.

Businesses can also have tailor made simulations built for their own purposes to monitor students behaviour and decision making in a business like situation

One example of this is the Carbon Trading simulation that gives a feel of working as an investor or trader within their company and providing the opportunity for graduates to prove themselves to potential employers.

Following simulations employers can make use of league tables tracking how students have performed.

Emplouers can additionally invite students to take part in internships throughout the duration of their degrees.

The potential for businesses to develop relationships with students ahead of graduation and potential offers of employnment aims to minimise risk and maximiseinteraction between all of the stakeholders – the & lsquo;Talent’ and the employers.

The talentcubed platform is free for graduate employers to post jobs, for agencies to post jobs or for students to create profiles.
