REC welcomes Personnel Checks to business partner scheme

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has joined forces with Personnel Checks to offer special deals to members on Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

The Lancashire-based DBS specialists provide a tailored service to all types of professional and voluntary organisations across the UK. A free helpline has also been set up to provide REC members with support and advice in relation to any checking and vetting issues.

Personnel Checks operations director, Michelle Mellor, said, “This is an exciting development for Personnel Checks because the REC is such a well-respected organisation.

“Our sister company Cummins Mellor Recruitment is a long-standing member of the REC and we have benefitted greatly from their excellent advice and services over the years. 

“We understand the importance of being able to carry out background checks, both quickly and easily, on members of staff where DBS clearance is essential for safeguarding society but also for staff in positions of security and trust such as key holders and roles where employees have access to sensitive information.”
