Rowan Group invests 250,000 in new Spinningfields office
Manchester-based senior executive recruitment firm, Rowan Group has invested £250k in its new Spinningfields operation and appointed Claire Smith to the recently created role of office manager.
The company, which has taken a prestigious office in 3 Hardman Street, plans to move Rowan Finance to the central location while Rowan Partners remains at the original headquarters in Towers Business Park, Didsbury.
Smith previously worked for the RK Group where she held the roles of Office Manager and Business Support Manager. With over 10 years experience within the industry, she will be responsible for full administrative and business facilitation.
The Rowan Group is focused on the identifying, evaluating and selecting high calibre individuals for ambitious SMEs in the North West, with Rowan Partners delivering executive search solutions at board level and Rowan Finance specialising in senior finance professionals.
The business was founded in 2011 by Richard Robinson, ex-Board Member of the Michael Page Group, David Anwyl and Paul Waite. All three were key shareholders who oversaw the growth and sale of the 3i backed RK Group in 2008.
The Rowan Group is an investee company of EV Group, one of the UK's leading venture capital providers.
Waite said: "The business has developed a respected profile built on integrity and a track record of growth during its first 24 months, a fact we attribute to the strength of the team, a loyal customer base and a good, growing stream of new business, much of which is won based on our reputation.
"The office move was essential to realise the next stage in the company's development, and it was important to place ourselves at the business and financial heart of Manchester. Add to this the appointment of Claire, and the foundations are present to push ahead and meet tough growth targets.
"As a VC backed SME ourselves, we share our clients' innovation, entrepreneurialism, commitment and determination to succeed. All three owners have been through successful equity backed company sales, so we know what is required to deliver the right people into strategically critical North West business roles," concluded Waite.
