Alium sponsored driver crowned Caterham Supersport Champion
Robinson from High Wycombe began his rapid ascent up the Caterham ladder only two years ago, winning the Caterham Autumn Trophy during his 2011 debut, and moving up a category just the following year to become the 2012 Caterham Tracksport Champion.
David said, “Suffice it to say these last two weeks have been the most rewarding of my motorsport career so far. It was the cherry on top to claim the Caterham Supersport title this weekend at Silverstone, but this season’s 13 finishes, 13 podiums, 7 wins, 6 pole positions, and championship would not have been possible without support from my sponsors like Alium Partners.”
Nigel Peters, managing partner at Alium Partners, said, “We are ecstatic about David’s recent victory in the 2013 Supersport series. It is a pleasure to support this talented driver at the start of his career, and we wish David continued success in 2014 as he progresses to Superlight R300, the premier Caterham series.”
