Earthstaff to sponsor 2013 oil & gas conference
Earthstaff are delighted to announce that they will be sponsoring at the 2013 Kurdistan-Iraq Oil & Gas Conference at the beginning of December. The Conference has been a key factor in driving economic success across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and is supported by The Kurdistan Regional Government, becoming an established and internationally renowned platform for the region’s oil and gas industry.
The event will be held at The Saad Palace Convention Centre in the capital city of Erbil and takes place over four days and will feature 45 speakers and 850 delegates from the likes of Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Gazprom. Attendees to the conference will be hearing from H.E Nerchirvan Barzani, Prime Minister of Kurdistan, H.E Dr Ashti Hawrami, Kurdistan Minister of Natural Resources and Ian MacDonald, one of the VPs of Chevron.
Over the past few years, Earthstaff has enjoyed great success supplying professionals to numerous companies operating within Kurdistan. This success has led to the Earthstaff establishing its own presence within the region by opening an office close the centre of the capital of Erbil. As the conference is continually growing in Ministry and industry support every year, the annual conference is therefore a gateway for Earthstaff to further establish themselves in Kurdistan’s unexplored and thriving oil and gas sector.
John Kittle, a director at Earthstaff is looking forward to attending the event
“We are delighted to be one of the sponsors at this years Oil & Gas conference in Kurdistan. It is certainly an exciting time for the region and we are very looking forward hearing from the speakers and talking to the many different companies who are planning to or are already operating within Kurdistan.”
Kittle continues “Having enjoyed a lot of success within the region already, this conference provides the perfect platform for Earthstaff to showcase its talents and demonstrate to companies how we can assist them with their recruitment needs. The unique nature of the region means businesses need a recruitment partner with experience of operating in the region and we believe we are one of the leading companies in that respect. We’re looking forward to discovering how the region and companies are going to develop in the coming years and how Earthstaff can be a part of the future journey of Kurdistan.”
