Gold award for equality and diversity

Pertemps has announced it has been awarded a & lsquo;Gold’ standard in a recent gender and equality benchmarking survey carried out by Race for Opportunity (RfO).

The Gold awards puts Pertemps in the top 10 of private companies who participated in the survey joining other influential organisations including BT, Sky, Enterprise Rent–A-Car and National Grid.

The Race for Opportunity benchmarking survey is the UK’s most comprehensive survey of gender, race equality and diversity in the workplace and provides a & lsquo;health-check’ for employers by highlighting strengths and pinpointing areas where improvements could be made.  Organisations are analysed across 30 key areas including career progression, recruitment, supplier diversity and senior management and board representation.

Chairperson Carmen Watson said: “As a business, we take great pride in not only maintaining our own diverse workforce, but also in helping to develop the workforces of our clients so that they are truly reflective of the communities which they represent.  Achieving the Gold status is testament to the hard work that our teams put in everyday to attract, retain and develop the best talent, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.”
