Lawrence Harvey appoints MD

Rory Ferguson, established Oil and Gas recruitment head, has been appointed as managing director of Lawrence Harvey Group, based in London.

This is the first appointment at this level for the business, a further demonstration of the commitment to growth across their four practice areas, Enterprise Solutions, Oil and Gas, IT & Change Management and Pharmaceuticals.

Ferguson brings with him over 14 years’ experience as a recruitment director, his most recent successes include driving the growth strategy for a global Oil and Gas business with the launch of new international offices and the expansion in to new technical disciplines. The company stated that Ferguson will be responsible for a practice covering the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

They added that Ferguson’s experience of developing businesses in new geographical locations will be an asset when implementing Lawrence Harvey Group’s global expansion plans and it is excited to welcome someone with such a strong track record of success onto the senior management team.

Adam Smith, associate director of Lawrence Harvey’s Enterprise Solutions business, stated, “Rory’s appointment enables us to continue our focus on forming partnerships with our clients whilst maximising growth opportunities. In Rory, Lawrence Harvey now boasts another industry expert with a superb track record having built profitable divisions at Harvey Nash and Hydrogen. I know Rory is just as buzzed about the future of LH as we all are.”

Company founder, Tom Glanfield, remains as CEO and strongly at the helm of the group.
