Boss Projects announces new payroll software
The move from its old system, Pegasis, has been made less than a year after its acquisition of Sprite Services which now allows both companies to use the same payroll system.
Ben Sitch-Oliver, senior partner at Boss Projects, said, "The whole project took just over 9 months - ncluding planning, migrating data, testing operations and customising the system to include updates such as Pensions Auto enrolment and our unique LLP membership engagement. The system was extensively tested by the Payroll, IT and compliance managers who made sure that every minute detail was taken into account. 2013 has been a massive year for Boss in terms of Sprite’s acquisition, Migration to new payroll system, new staff and we are excited about the prospects of 2014.
"Before putting the system live, Boss Projects staff underwent training to get acquainted to the new system. This was primarily done to ensure that the migration to new systems went smoothly and didn’t affect the company’s operations. Technology keeps changing and at Boss we make sure that we have the best systems and back office in place to look after our customers and clients."
The company state the new software will take a lot of manual data entry away from the payroll team, which should result in faster turnaround on invoicing and improved communication with clients.
They also upgraded their online expenses portal & lsquo;’Boss X’’ very recently and company staff believe that this will put them in a position to provide faster and more efficient service.
