Exchequer Solutions rebrands & celebrates record turnover

In addition to an increased staff headcount of nearly 60 per cent, the new website, which will focus on easier registration, better navigation and a more intuitive design, will maximise on the current near-record demand for contractors and position Exchequer Solutions to capitalise on a buoyant 2013 that has seen the firm exceed gross revenues of &pound65m.

Mike Lowndes, operations director, attributes the unprecedented rate of development in part to market growth within some of Exchequer’s key sectors, particularly construction. Importantly, the company’s focus on delivering superior service has resulted in a number of preferred supplier list (PSL) wins and significant expansion of existing clients accounts.

“Exchequer’s single-mindedness in delivering exceptional service levels and compliance protection to clients is what sets us apart from our competitors and it has paid off. To better reflect this culture and capability, and to be in the position to maximise on the forecasted industry growth, we have invested significantly in our marketing. Apart for our new logo and range of collateral, our website has been improved to provide a more intuitive experience for clients, as well as providing a resource of relevant information that will improve users’ experience.

“Providing comprehensive and relevant information about our services, as well as on critical legislation changes such as auto-enrolment and Real Time Information (RTI), is tremendously important to us. Not only does it assist contractors in better decision-making around our contracting solutions, but it also supports agencies wanting to align themselves with a quality service and compliance protection. In this move we hope to encourage clients within our industry to steer away from using non-compliant companies, regardless of the extra margins their models may promise to deliver.”

Notwithstanding the significant uplift in growth from the construction sector, other buoyant commercial markets that have bolstered Exchequer’s impressive trading include the technical, engineering, Oil & Gas and IT sectors. In addition, the UK recruitment industry has grown in excess of seven per cent with the flexible workforce considered vital for economic growth at a time when companies are reluctant to increase their permanent workforce.
