Green Park employee wins IRP award

Now in their fifth year, the awards are part of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s (REC) Institute of Recruitment Professionals and are designed to celebrate excellence, best practice and inspirational work carried out across the recruitment industry.

The IMA Interim Consultant of the Year Award was open to providers who are active members of the IMA - the industry body representing the leading UK companies that recruit interim managers.

Judges were looking for an individual who consistently performs above their peers, demonstrates excellent industry knowledge, and is able to identify and deliver quality candidates into senior management appointments.

Sweetland is a partner with leading interim management provider, Green Park. During her seven years with the company, she has worked tirelessly as a positive ambassador for Green Park and the wider interim industry. She also creates a great deal of repeat business through her existing, and growing, client base and contributes strongly to the company's charity initiatives.

Today, she mentors and trains junior staff at Green Park, and has been pivotal in the candidate care programme - ensuring all candidates receive a consistently high level of service.

Commenting on her award win, Sweetland said, “I am delighted to be the first ever HR recruiter to win the IMA Consultant of the year award. It is an honour to represent the wider team at Green Park. I have dedicated time to constantly innovate in this sector and my attitude to work reflects Green Park's values passion, sustainability, innovation and quality. I am very grateful to all of my candidates and clients who have supported me in my career over the last 14 years, without whom this achievement would not have been possible.”

Jason Atkinson, chairman of the IMA and managing director at Russam Interim, added, Jo is a worthy award winner and a consummate professional. She continues to support Green Park and the sector, both of which have grown from strength to strength. She is a real asset to our industry."
