JSA Services acquires PlanIT
JSA CEO, Andrew Goodman, announces, “There has been much talk of opportunities for consolidation in our sector for some time. We are delighted to have been able to take the lead and to have acquired such a prominent business as PlanIT. As fellow members of the Freelancer & Contractor Services Association (FCSA) and an APSCo affiliate, PlanIT has a great deal in common with JSA culturally, commercially and operationally. PlanIT has a well-established base of customers and a proven track record of developing strong relationships with individual contractors. We look forward to building on these successes and integrating the two businesses swiftly and smoothly so that our combined client base can continue to enjoy the very highest levels of service. This transaction demonstrates the resilience, strength and continued importance of the UK’s contingent labour force. Over 1.5m in number, their role in the ongoing economic recovery will be absolutely vital, and we are happy to be of service to them.”
Goodman concluded, “We believe this to be the most significant acquisition in the sector to date the first coming together of two of the nine existing members of the FCSA. The quality and combined scale of the two businesses will undoubtedly make it one of the true leaders in the industry.”
Adrian Learer, founder and managing director of PlanIT, added, “It has been a real pleasure working with Andrew and his Chairman, Stewart Rogers, on this transaction. I am very proud of the business we’ve built at PlanIT and am convinced that it will continue to thrive under the new owners.”
JSA provides Limited Company, Umbrella and Payroll services to contractors and temporary workers across a range of industry sectors.
