Sellick Partnership makes top 1000 inspiring companies report

With a total of 4.5 million SMEs across Britain, the London Stock Exchange identified 1,000 of the country’s most inspiring enterprises, in partnership with the Daily Telegraph. The aim is to & lsquo; bring to life what we knew instinctively to be true: that these companies are the lifeblood of the UK economy.’

With six offices across the country, and a head office in Manchester, Sellick Partnership, a legal and finance recruitment specialist, was established in 2002 by managing director Jo Sellick, with the aim of becoming a market leader through providing an exceptional recruitment service, coupled with the desire to become an employer of choice within this highly competitive sector.

Sellick commented, "This is a real acknowledgement of our investment in our people, the strength of our brand and our online presence. We commit a significant amount of resource to our digital strategy through social media, blogs, new articles and website content which has obviously paid off. For us to be 1 of 22 recruitment firms in a list of 1,000 businesses is amazing, and I am delighted to say that none of our competitors have been identified.

"With the UK economy experiencing an upturn, the role of the SME is pivotal across the regions and various sectors. It is extremely positive that the London Stock Exchange is raising awareness of this, and acknowledging the diversity and richness of the business community across the country. As we enter 2014 we need to be doing more to support and encourage the development of these businesses.”
