Chefs Jobs UK add local talent to menu

Amy Hutcheson, who has worked for Ribble Valley Inns, the Inn at Whitewell and the Seafood Pub Company, brings her expertise to the company which is part of the Accrington-based Cummins Mellor Group.

The 28-year-old, a Stirling University graduate in human resource management, trained at the Gleneagles 5 star Country Hotel and Spa Resort for a year as Chef de Rang within the Gleneagles 3AA Rosette restaurant, including Andrew Fairlie’s 2 Michelin star restaurant.

She then became a supervisor before re-locating to Lancashire to join the Inn at Whitewell as a restaurant manager.

After two years at the prestigious hotel near Clitheroe, Hutcheson joined Ribble Valley Inns, which includes the Michelin-starred Northcote Manor. Amy worked across most of the Ribble Valley Inns establishments as assistant general manager before being promoted to general manager.

She then served as general manager across several sites within the Lancashire-based Seafood Pub Company.

Hutcheson said, “I love everything about the hospitality industry meeting new people, customers enjoying their eating experience, not to mention the buzz at the end of a every service.

Hutcheson will be working alongside 11 other members of the Chefs Job UK team who provide temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to establishments across the UK.
