Orange Genie announces service brand
The aim of Genie Passport is to reduce the time, costs and risks associated with the use and deployment of temporary workers. Genie Passport ensures that workers arriving on site, or moving from site to site, are ready to work and can be easily identified. In pre-qualifying essential compliance, training and identity issues the worker is able to start an assignment much quicker saving the host company time, cost and resource.
Genie Passport can be tailored to specific market sectors, supply chains, and individual company requirements. The passport delivers compliance and identity checks, eLearning courses and a profile page for each worker that is specific to that industry or organisation. This makes the management of temporary and agency workers much easier for both the agency and the hirer.
Guy Schrecker, general manager of Genie Passport, said, “We have been researching the opportunities for some time and launched HSE Passport 18 months ago to test demand. We have been delighted by the response from both customers and recruitment agencies, and already provide passports to over 5,000 contractors. We are confident we can revolutionise the & lsquo;on-boarding’ of agency, temporary and contract staff."
Graham Fisher, CEO of Orange Genie Group stated, “We are committed to improving the lives and opportunities available to freelancers and professional contractors, this new service helps us to achieve our aims. Genie Passport complements the range of services offered by the other brands within the group – Genie Accountancy, Genie Umbrella and Genie Education. We believe Genie Passport gives us a lead in the market and further underlines our focus on becoming the leading contractor support company in the UK.”
