Templine hits the 40m mark
The company, which was established in 1984, specialises in warehouse staff, forklift truck operatives, machine supervisors, and general labour. Templine’s growth has accelerated following a boost in the number of contracts with major blue-chip retailers, including Sainsbury’s, Asda and Argos.
It operates from 29 locations across the UK and is looking to strengthen its national footprint, with new sites expected in the North West and South East, to support the demand from its growing client base. Turnover is on track to reach £47m by the end of 2014 – a 19 per cent increase.
Templine was backed by Key Capital Partners (KCP) in 2007 following a £4.3m investment, when the company had turnover of £15.7m.
As part of the firm’s growth strategy, it has acquired Ashby-de-la-Zouch-based AA Recruitment and two of branches of Leicestershire-based 247 Staff.
Tony Bucciero, managing director at Templine, said, “Our client base has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, which has been down to the hard work of all our staff and the management team. They have helped to transform the business into one of the leading consultancies in the industrial and commercial markets and we will continue to take advantages of the opportunities in the sector.”
Owen Trotter, managing partner at KCP and non-executive director at Templine, added, “Templine has developed excellent relationships with its clients in recent years and understands the requirement to provide a skilled workforce that adds value to the businesses it supplies to. As a result, the company has shown significant growth, both organically and through a series of acquisitions, and is looking to acquire more businesses to further strengthen its geographical footprint across the UK.”
