Thornhvac unveils expansion plans for Leeds office
The family run business, which has offices in Nottingham and Leeds, said its site at Carrwood Park in Swillington would be the focus of growth in the year ahead.
Jason Thornhill, who heads up the Leeds office, said the firm was initially looking to make three appointments in the first quarter of 2014.
“Our focus last year was on improving our systems within the business so that we could hit the ground running in 2014 and boost the size of our recruitment team in Yorkshire,” he said.
“We have identified a number of new sectors that we would like to target, including renewables and refrigeration, and we are now in the process of identifying experienced recruiters who can support our growth plans along with an administrative assistant to support the team.”
Thornhill said investment in IT infrastructure had allowed for the introduction of flexible working practices and a company bonus had also been introduced.
“The company bonus system is designed to reinforce a team environment and sets us apart from many firms in the recruitment sector which typically offer individual performance bonuses.
“By relying less on targets and more on commitment we hope to attract individuals who want to build a long term career with us,” he added.
