WorkForce Unlimited purchases The Prillaman Group
The move is expected to expand the Triad company's brand.
Terms of the transaction between WorkForce Unlimited and The Prillaman Group that closed on Jan. 3 and became effective on Feb.1 were not disclosed.
The Prillaman Group consists of an executive search division and a staffing and consulting division doing business as TPG Staffing.
The TPG Staffing name will remain in place, and its executives will remain as a part of the company, which has three Virginia locations in Rocky Mount, Radford, and Galax as well as one in Andrews, N.C.
Tim Prillaman, founder of The Prillaman Group, will lead the executive search division for WorkForce Carolina Inc.
Matt Thurman, partner with The Prillaman Group, will serve as senior business development officer for both companies under the TPG staffing name.
Teresa Lewis, who founded WorkForce Carolina in 1987, continues in her role as president.
R. Michael Brannock Jr. was recently named CEO of WorkForce Unlimited and WorkForce Carolina.
“TPG’s core values and focus on quality are aligned perfectly with the WorkForce mission and values. Their business will expand our footprint and drive additional growth” Brannock said.
Brannock said the combined company will have about 60 employees. WorkForce Carolina has just under 50 employees. TPG has about 11.
