Barker Ross raises over 25,000 for charity
Throughout 2013, Barker Ross employees ran, sky dived, bungee jumped and mountain climbed to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. The Charity, which also celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2013, is the leading national charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. Less energetic money raising activities included a charity ball and family fun day, so all Barker Ross employees could get involved.
Paul Ross, CEO and founder of Barker Ross, said, “I’m so proud of what our staff achieved in 2013, everyone got really involved in the anniversary fundraising and came up with great ideas. As a company, we’re all about teamwork and pulling together. Hitting the £25K target just shows how committed and capable our staff are when faced with a challenge.”

Pippa Gough, head of corporate partnerships at Children with Cancer UK, said, “We are thrilled to be benefiting from the £25k Barker Ross has raised. Without such fantastic support we wouldn't be able to continue our vital research to save more young lives, both now and for the future.”
