Formally of the Prudential, LIFFE/Euronext/NYSE and Tate & Lyle, immediately prior to joining Digby Morgan, Nicola was the head of talent, development and acquisition at LCH.CLearnet, the leading independent clearing house that serves the major international exchanges.
Commenting on her appointment, Andrews said, “I’ve always had a real love of the recruitment and talent side of the HR business - which I consider one of the most positive aspects of what HR can contribute – and I genuinely believe that my long and rich experience means I can add real value to what Digby Morgan offers its clients and candidates.
“From a client perspective, I understand and appreciate the pressures and the nuances of HR roles and can empathise with the profession as it seeks to bring new talent into the organisation. Additionally, from a candidate viewpoint, I’ve been there and believe that I’m exceptionally well qualified to advise and counsel candidates on career paths, opportunities and approaches.
“Personally, I was looking for a new challenge and I’m thrilled to have found this fantastic opportunity with Digby Morgan to lead its interim team during what is gearing up to be a significant period of growth – our interim business is already up around 40% on this time last year.
“I’ve been both a client and a candidate of Digby Morgan many times over the years and couldn’t think of a better place to look for a new challenge,” she concluded.
Digby Morgan’s CEO, Alistair Cook, said, “Nicola is one of the City’s leading talent specialists and I’m delighted that she has chosen to join Digby Morgan to manage our interim business,” he commented. “Our mantra has always been that we are a business run by HR professionals solely for other HR professionals and Nicola is the embodiment of that and is already adding a unique and invaluable dimension to our business.”
