FCSA to hold free London seminar
The free-to-attend event, organised by the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) and supported by accountancy giant EY, takes place in central London on Thursday 6th March.
HMRC officials will be on hand to share their latest views on looming legislation to tackle & lsquo;false self-employment’ and offshore employment intermediaries, as well as developments in PSC (personal service company) legislation.
Attendees will hear from EY on the wider agency and provider market, and respected research analyst Belinda Johnson will provide an update on emerging trends in the overall contingent workforce market.
FCSA chairman Stuart Davis said: “This free-to-attend event will provide the service provider community with an opportunity to learn more about the immediate and longer-term challenges facing our industry.”
FCSA members undergo an independent audit review from one of the & lsquo;big four’ accountancy practices, with the review documentation being voluntarily submitted to HMRC – part of the organisation’s efforts to drive compliance, ethics and transparency in the sector.
The seminar takes place at Ernst & Young LLP, 1 More London Place, London SE1 2AF, on 6th March.
Registration is at 10am, and the seminar will run from 10.30am-12.30pm. There will be a networking lunch immediately afterwards.
The seminar is open to all service providers – not just current FCSA members. To reserve your place, please email info@FCSA.org.uk.
