IntaPeople boosted by Spectrum Internet and Cardiff Council
Specialist IT recruitment firm IntaPeople is enjoying new operational benefits after demonstrating its commitment to a Super Connected Cardiff and to the IT sector it serves.
ADSL internet connections previously experienced signi?cant speed reductions at peak times during the day, impacting the time spent by recruitment consultants researching job candidates and vacancies.
Rob Samuel, IT Manager at IntaPeople commented: “There were a number of challenges with our old system.
“The sta?at Spectrum Internet and Cardi?Council were extremely helpful throughout the process. Spectrum Internet were the most understanding when discussing our issues running a primarily online business using ADSL broadband.”
The Super Connected Cities scheme removes the cost barrier to super-fast broadband by providing funding to SMEs with a voucher of up to 3000 pounds. The service is becoming accessible to small and mid-sized companies.
Amongst the significant results experienced by IntaPeople:
• A tenfold increase in broadband speed.
• Instantaneous email and browsing.
• Dramatically reduced data back-up time.
• Ability to conduct video interviews and conference calls simultaneously, without degrading internet quality.
Increased speed and extra bandwidth means IntaPeople has the best possible foundations to improve e?ciencies, make cost-savings and innovate the way it works.
Phil Handley, Operations Director at IntaPeople, commented: “With the new superfast connection installed, we are seeing many bene?ts across the whole business. This gives us tremendous scope to scale upwards, and consider newer systems in the future”
