Opinio Group appoints non-exec director

Wright's role will be to work with and advise the board on how best to manage and maintain its rapid growth.  Key focus will be on the development and deployment of new services, providing investment advice and helping to steer Opinio’s global expansion plans, including its entry into the USA and Chinese markets via, effectively a for jobs, in 2014.

Wright, one of the most experienced deal makers in the recruitment and staffing sector, currently has more than 20 transactions to his name - realising a total value in excess &pound350m. With a background in engineering, Jonathan joined James Caan at Alexander Mann in 1993 where they invested in the start-up of AMS, one of the world’s leading Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) businesses, he has gone on to enjoy an exceptional career in resourcing and recruitment including positions as the CEO of Hexagon Human Capital and non-executive director at Spring Group.

 The new appointment comes just weeks after Freeserve founder and tech guru Rob Wilmot joined Opinio Group as Non-Executive Chairman.

Launched in December 2011, Opinio Group comprises of a suite of digital services focussed on the jobseeker, of which is the company’s lead product. Jobseekers simply upload their CV and within seconds they will be matched to the most relevant jobs for them and get daily alerts of new matches thereafter.  The business has 700,000 live UK jobs sent daily from all the best and leading job boards.

Opinio Group has two other core products Applitracker and IMPS - both enable a recruiter/hirer to reach jobseekers quicker and better than ever before through its Intelligent Mass Posting System.
