Talent Rover opens new London office & expands European presence
Led by Steve Harris, Talent Rover’s Director of EMEA Sales, the London office will continue to expand the company’s European presence and meet the growing demand for staffing and recruitment software that addresses the needs of a rapidly globalising industry.
Over the past year, Talent Rover has taken significant steps to serve the European market. The company’s global expansion began in April 2013 with the opening of its first London office. Later that year, an office was opened in Dublin, Ireland to host the global support team. The new office in London’s Bank District will host a complete team of sales and operations professionals dedicated to Talent Rover’s client-base in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“We’ve made a commitment to provide the European market with local expertise,” said Brandon Metcalf, co-founder and COO of Talent Rover. “We recognize how important it is that our product is managed and sold by people who understand the recruitment industry in Europe.”
Steve Harris, Talent Rover’s first European Enterprise Account Executive, has transitioned into a new role, Director of EMEA Sales, and will be responsible for managing the new London office. With over 25 years of recruiting experience in the European market, Harris brings a true understanding of the business and technological challenges faced by staffing and recruitment organisations. Prior to joining Talent Rover, Harris was the Founding Director of Imnet, specializing in IT recruitment. In addition to directing his own firm for 20 years, Harris held recruitment and management roles at several UK- based firms.
“Before Talent Rover, there was no software in the European market that could successfully manage small size and enterprise level firms,” said Harris. “Having managed a recruitment business, I know how frustrating it is to work with multiple software solutions that can’t support the full recruitment workflow, and I’ve seen how inadequate technology can take time away from making sales, finding talent and securing placements. I’m proud to lead Talent Rover’s growth in a market where it is clearly needed.”
Native in 20 languages and supporting over 100 currencies, Talent Rover is well suited for local European users conducting both regional and global business. Talent Rover is also designed to manage regulations in any market. In the UK, for instance, where firms do a high volume of contract staffing and face strict mandates under the Agency Workers Regulations, Talent Rover integrates compliance measures directly into the recruitment workflow.
“Many companies with a global presence are forced to use different software solutions in different regions because their solutions can’t adapt to new markets or scale to support global growth,” added Metcalf. “Our goal is to provide Europe’s staffing and recruitment firms with one log-in for every task that drives business forward.”
