Alexander Daniels sponsors porsche racing driver David Walley
The firm, which has offices in Birmingham and Bristol, is lead sponsor for David Walley’s Porsche GT3 in his maiden season as a driver in the 2014 997 GT3 Cup, which will be shown on Sky TV during the season, including a live race from Silverstone.
That means the Alexander Daniels logo will feature on Walley’s car as he competes in races around the country, beginning at Donington at the end of April. The season runs over seven weekends, finishing at Oulton Park in October.
“David has been a highly valued client for several years so we thought this sponsorship would be a great way of further cementing the relationship,” says Nick Pearce, director at Alexander Daniels, which specialises in recruitment in the finance, accountancy, corporate governance and engineering sectors.
“We have ambitious plans for Alexander Daniels over the next few years, so having our brand displayed prominently on David’s car will also be an excellent means of boosting our profile.”

Walley, who is CEO of Warwick-based events services company Freeman, says it was ex-Formula 1 driver Jonathan Palmer, a personal friend, who first encouraged him to start racing in 2009.
He started out in the Caterham Roadsports class, won the Classic Sports Car Club’s “Magnificent 7s” title in 2012 and last year, completed a part-season in a Caterham CSR, winning both the races he entered.
Now Walley's racing career is now moving up another gear with the switch to the GT3 Cup.
“I wanted to push myself. I’ve always followed motor sport and I want to do it to the best of my ability,” says Walley, who will be supported by the In2Racing team, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
“This season is a big step forward and as well as other Porsches, I’ll be racing against plenty of Ferraris and Lamborghinis, so I’m on a steep learning curve. It would be great to get onto the podium a couple of times but in football terms it feels as if I’ve moved from the Conference to the Premiership!
“I wanted to try something more exciting and higher profile so I’d like to thank the team at Alexander Daniels for helping to make it all possible. I’m really looking forward to welcoming their guests into the paddock and hospitality unit during the season.”
